CLIMB

CLIMB® is a program for kids and teens that have a parent, grandparent, or guardian with cancer. CLIMB® is open to community regardless of treatment center, and serves children and teens from 1st Grade – Senior in High School. The program is especially focused on the emotional needs and support of the kids and teens while educating the parents on how to support their kids. Activities include art projects, cancer education, and individual tours of the cancer center and the treatment areas lead by radiation and medical oncology providers, happily answering any questions the kids and teens have. Specially trained facilitators provide this program that is available on Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm for six weeks. The program provides dinner for the family each week of the session.
